The architectural program solution for this home in the vicinity of Parque Juárez in San Miguel de Allende, resulted in the creation of two different master bedrooms to accommodate the needs of its owners.
The more public areas all revolve around a central patio, a Zen-like small garden with a sliding dome in the roof, which provides a lot of light to the dining room, living room and kitchen.
High ceilings and a rather white and light grays palette combine to give this home a palatial feeling.

2 – 4 PEOPLE (The house was made for 2 people; it fits up to 4)
In a narrow terrain, it is crucial to take advantage of each square meter to solve the architectural program. Through half levels, spaces were generated to have a large garage, a large living room that houses kitchen, dining room and living room, and a double height window to an interior patio that introduces light and works for cross ventilation.
The materials of the structure become finished when they are apparent, giving it a different touch.

Remodelation
AGAVE SOTHEBY’S offices
In the first picture of the city, an old house is intervened to turn into an office of a prestigious real estate agency.
The remodeling recovers the main elements of the original construction, stripping it of previous interventions contrary to its essence. Of course, elements of contemporary architecture are incorporated that add functionality, cleanliness, and contrast.
The offices are arranged around a central courtyard, and in the upper part, a gallery with work cubicles is generated, as well as a spectacular terrace for events, overlooking the Parish.

This home enjoys views from all its rooms to the garden, whose south, south-east orientation gives good natural lighting to the house throughout the year. The quality of the finishes and the manufacture of carpentry and blacksmithing is noticeable and complements the spaces for a pleasant feeling in the different rooms of the house.

WINERY
The earth, which gives sustenance to the fruit of the grape, stands on the cast walls of earth, following an orthogonal scheme that reflects the modern style of its architecture.
Predominantly solid volumes are interspersed, creating esplanades and courtyards between them, generating a rhythm that elevates the experience from the visual to the sensory plane.
In a second stage, a large kitchen has been built to serve major events, seeking to enhance the experience of winemaking.

Project collaboration with THAA Arquitectos, Arq. J.A. Popoca
Faced with the need to build a residence suitable for people in wheelchairs, on rugged terrain with steep slopes, the project was resolved through "galleries" of different heights and sizes, interconnected by ramps and "bays", guaranteeing access to all areas of the construction.
The functional solution adapts to the modern architecture of large spans, which see above the back garden. White flattened walls, cast earth walls, apparent steel elements, and wooden details indoors are the main actors in the material composition of this project.
